Jeeez they were 99 cents when I was a teenager
 Quoting: Gargantuan Tarantula

Yep I'm 37 and remember eating 99 cents whoppers. The burgers were huge back then compared to now and actually tasted good. Do you remember clear Pepsi?.. and when you would go to a soda vending machine, the 12 ounce sodas came in a 12 ounce glass bottle?... getting fucking old.

everyday, during the pandemic, in 2020\2021, in the burger king app, was a $3 double whopper. Plus the coupon never went away, so you could buy them all day long. No other purchase necessary

It's all garbage now, why worry about the price? Need to stop putting it into your body.

Myself, I can't stand any fast food now, something is off about it, and it's sure not worth the price.

3rd pic down is still around and now a greasy spoon in Hamtramck. Best burger, chili dog and fries you'll ever eat...stoned or drunk.

Was just saying the same about McDonalds.

Filet of fish
Sm Fries
Sm soda

$10.62

Shit food, but I savored every bite lol

Organic vegan food lunch (soup, chips and 2 real fruit soft serves for two is $18) at the local stand.

If you consider the food costs; fast food is a total rip off.

They figured out not only poor people eat it.

Re: $7.90 for a Wopper
12 oz glass pop bottles in vending machines ended about 1980.

Whoppers back then were REALLY wide, and you DID need two hands to handle a Whopper.

I wonder if that TV commercial has been scrubbed from history.
Nothing shall be so certain as to permit confusion.
