1000?
2000?
or More? Per Month? You pay 7.99 for the Whooper

In Romania

Minimum Salary is 300 and the Whooper it cost almost the same 6-7 Dollars

Who need to complain more?

I prefer to go to a restaurant if I have to pay $20 for fast food.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78327618

That's pretty much where I am on the subject, too. It's pretty hard to get out of some of those places without spending almost that on a meal. Like Zaxby's - totally overpriced for fast food. Go to a sit-down and have a relaxing meal with someone waiting on you for your $20 or $30.

I found a 2 for 3 dollars Whopper coupon in old papers. It expired in 2010. 13 years later one sandwich is nearly $8?

That's still crazy expensive. Wasn't long ago that $50 for two at Cheesecake Factory was considered an expensive dinner out. And it was A LOT of food, too. And not loaded with msg (aka soy protein isolate) and other fake food-like substances.

its partially due to increased wages.

Over a very long time, the price of one gallon of gasoline in the US has tracked closely with the price of a standard full-size cheeseburger.

I feel better with a full tank of gas and hungry than the other way around.

4.79 for bacon egg and cheese biscuit at mcds. Biscuits are virtually free, the eggs are fake, 1 slice of bacon broken in half and half a slice of cheese....Less then 1$ in food costs. Its all labor to pay people 18$ an hour to work there.

Who cares?

You act like minimum wage is the only cost incurred upon businesses.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74307281

Labor is the highest cost. Not just the labor in the store, the delivery driver, the company that makes the buns, the guy who collects the garbage. All those deliveries and garbage have fuel surcharges as well now. But labor is the highest cost.
