Not to sound arrogant, but I am an EOD professional, basically a career one - both Mil and Civi and I call BS. Furthermore this is extremely irresponsible to post and try to pass off as a chem weapon attack, I will tell you why later. What I see in this vid is either CGI or something that low ordered. It is definitely not chem stuff.

Using chem weapons is not a war crime per se, it is a contravention on the Convention for Chemical Weapons. The jist is, that no country uses them and if they are proven to do so, the other country (In a conventional war) are legally allowed to respond with Nukes. In otherwords, it can be used as a justification to go nuclear. Similar to self defence, guy attacks you with bat, you can use knife, attacks you with knife you can use gun. Same concept.

As a result, I find this video extremely troubling. In my opinion, the people who made it/ distribute it / try to convince others ( With zero knowledge on ordnance or chemical weapons) about its authenticity , should be punished accordingly.

Why I can tell right off the hop it is not chem, is as follows:

1. They appear to be divers and one guy seems to be suffering prior to attack. Looks like it could be bends. All kit, including weapons/ rebreathers/ SCUBA appear to have been abandoned and it looks like the one guy is trying to get the other guy to a safe location.

2. Dropping a chem round in water is stupid. If, in fact, it was chem, it would have to be approved by someone high up and there would be an expert on site for deployment. Shooting gas in water is a waste. better on bank. Previous drone videos have shown that accurate firing is possible.

3. Projectile appears to be brand new with clear colour coding visible. This is not consistent with chem weapons, they haven't been produced for many decades.

4. Projectile does not appear like any known chem weapon projectile/ delivery system, appear brand new.

I'm calling BS and unless you are NATO HX qualified, don't even bother debating. Most people dont even know how to spell ordnance correctly, let alone understand how they function.
