+1. What an asshat. Typical CA narcissistic personality, probably from Smell-A or San Franschitsco Bay areas.

I know how you feel. No dog owner should leave their dog outside barking non-stop. That is abusive to the dog & the neighbors as well as being totally inconsiderate.
I just finished a 7-day dog-caring week for a dog who when she went out to the yard, she would sometimes bark at sounds created by the workmen who are building a new home next door. I would then bring her back inside, because there are other neighbors around who would hear her incessant barking, & that is not being neighborly.

Come on man, just go over there with dog treats. Offer to walk them, they need exercise.

Dogs are way better than people. Most times! Is the real estate against hot. Bring her some flowers for valentines. Change the narrative and it will change your attitude.

I'm surrounded by wheat fields and cattle ranches. I can hear a moo if I sit outside for a while.

A silence has fallen. It's been quiet, and she's in there with the dog. This neighborhood is blissful without her dog barking. Total quiet.

Someone else must have finally said something. I'm not even right next door, I'm across the street. Her dogs barking is next to an apartment building! It must have been driving them insane as well.

I can hear it barking indoors, Maybe if it drives her nuts enough she'll do something. AHH there is goes, first bark of the day. It's noon she let the dog out to bark!

That constant whooshing of airplanes is really bothering me now as well. They fly so low now!
I'm so exhausted from yesterday I won't leave today, maybe tomorrow. I actually have no idea where to go, and it's high season in Florida. I'll have to stay way North near Ocala. A stinky room in any old place south is 300 dollars.

The new World has a new loneliness level. Day by day by day goes by I have no idea where to go or what to do anymore. Nashville feels so empty. Life feels so scary.

I have that strategy lined up already. Because the only thing worse than. dog barking is a loud blowing or vacuuming sound, am I right? Some towns couldn't take it anymore and limit when people can use blowers and weed wackers

I turn on the vacuum, open the window, and leave it on. Then close the doors and go to the back of the house.

Who wants to bet someone complains about the vacuum?

Cops come, I tell them "OMG I was VACUUMING" and what do you think they will say or do?

I haven't got time for this. I'm moving on. If I can relocate my three cats I will (they are free roaming/ grazing). I'm going to grab any old piece of land with a decent trailer and get out of here. The issue is, where do I put the million fucking dollars I will get for this place? Huh? Tell me? What the fuck, you think it's easy to build wealth with everything that's going on? What bank do I use? I'm so stressed out I'm not even sure I want to live to spend it.

The plan is to try to relocate the cats and my stuff, then get over to Europe and live high In luxury Hotels for a few weeks at a time, coming back and forth.

I haven't been on a plane in 20 years. I'm scared as fuck of everything now.

My exact experience. Im about the opposite of a hummingbird lady, and been in many a situation or drama. Never have I felt a hatred and drive to kill as when that dog had kept me up.

Mine was out in the country, sound travels just fine. Big dog that had that incredibly fast and energetic bark, about 8 "woos" a second. The longest I heard it bark was 7 hours, I was wide awake for all of it. I suffered this for about 4 months a year for 4 years.

The way I dealt with it was just marking the property as a hit if SHTF. You cant be a decent person and allow that to persist. Another rich dipshit, or whoever can afford a $40,000 truck. The upper middle who act like poor because they paid $4000 in taxes.

Dogs don't live very long, stick it out, and in the meantime, do some basic soundproofing.

Got speakers, type into YouTube “12 hour dog whistle” turn it up full blast that will shut the fucker up, you can’t hear it but the dog can, see if that works

My neighbor (4plex) called animal control on me because my dogs were barking when I was at work, or some such nonsense.. I get up at 3am and NOW I like to wake him up by slapping my trash can against the wall and playing loud music..

I would never do such a thing, nor would I retaliate as the AC before you suggests. When you do things like that you are looking at jail here. This is inner city Nashville in the best area, we pay stupid taxes here, bad enough that I'm getting out to bring my tax expenses down by 300%.

So the barking stopped. I heard her let the Dog out and it's not barking. My guess is they got an electronic collar. Those things are miracles. That and a few sessions with a trainer can do miracles.

Our next door neighbours has 2 barking dogs on either side ,ontop of that they slam doors throught the day ,it's a living nightmare as I work from home

I love dogs, I have 2. Big dogs. Shephard and Lab. I protect them, not the other way round.

But I would shoot that dog instantly.

And I would have called the cops and animal control.

Listen, I'm going to give you a name of who I deem to be the world's BEST dog trainer and I don't even own a dog! Go to YouYube and/or Instagram and search "Dog Daddy".

Trust. Just watch a few videos and you can see exactly why he is travelling the world offering sessions. He can provide instant results. Again, I can attest to his brilliance and a heart of GOLD. He barely needs to speak lol!

The one dog I had, also a German Shepherd (Dog Daddy also breeds "The Ultimate German Shepherd", gorgeous dogs, smh), I had it trained on finger commands, also never raising my voice-but my ex and I argued about it non-stop and a dog can't have "2 owners". It is ALL about the training!

Just some advice on what worked for me.
I also owned a nice home in the best part of town.
But for other reasons besides dogs I needed space.
So I searched for a private spot that had a smaller but very custom home on it and I bought it outright.
You always have to live somewhere and your money won't go to waste on a home. I get to enjoy mine every day as I now stroll over my 10 acres,(still within city limits so it was NOT cheap),and under my 80 ft Scotch pines.
My gardens, which I planted, are the talk of the family.
And my 2 dogs, I also love animals, love to chase the squirrels.

All and all I consider it interest paid and a very good return on my investment.

You have money. It will only languish in some bank earning more paper that you will probably never touch. Europe is a fine idea but I am afraid the time for extensive travel there may be over.

Yeah, check out Dog Daddy. He heals families AND their dogs (and applicable neighbors and family) in a VERY short time. In some VERY easy commands. I am literally his BIGGEST fan that doesn't have a dog, I am forever telling people about him.

In fact, one of his dogs is having puppies tonight. Lol, I got to watch the first one be born earlier tonight. He's livestreaming and updating as much of it as he can lol, he gets so excited :D-again, on YT and Instagram :).

It will give you back some faith that all is NOT lost.

She must have called a similar trainer. It's been silent. I hear an occasional woof, then nothing.

I'm guessing she got the dog an electronic collar. The silence is so blissful. You can hear the doves again, and the wrens. With that noise you can't hear all the little country sounds.

It's not healthy for a dog to be constantly barking. It causes the animal a lot of stress, continually releasing adrenaline.

Praise be to God it stopped. I can literally make different life choices without that dog barking. I don't have to feel that constant rage and anguish coursing through my veins. I specially moved here to get away from noise and dogs. To have to move again was breaking me.

Now thanks to God I have a roof over my head, a newly fixed Hvac, and my quiet neighborhood back. I may ditch moving for now and just get in the car and drive. At some point I must try to get on a plane and fly, or I'll never see much again. I also have a tremendous calling to return to California one more time, but man that place is so scary. I was on edge and in a state of paranoia the entire time. Once I got back east to Oklahoma I felt like I'd entered heaven. I was shocked how beautiful Oklahoma is, but the heat and wind; omg.

That's a real shame. People are putting their pets (dogs in particular) in a status above humans.

I used to like dogs, I have had several in my lifetime, and just like with children, we didn't allow screaming and carrying on in public from our children. We have more respect for the other human beings around us.

Obviously, your disrespectful neighbor and several of the posters on here are of the socialist/democratic mindset.

They feel they are somehow entitled to do what they wish and disturb the peace and quiet that we ALL deserve!

I'd rather hear dogs barking than, some idiot in my house blaring the TV, tictok videos or some video game..

Also, maybe you should set some carrer and life goals and attempt to reach them, a 50 years should still be doing the equivalent job of a news paper delivery boy.

Why would you move and let some idiot person who can't control their animals defeat you. There are many ways to deal with idiots like that, I promise you. That issue would be resolved swiftly if it was me and they would have wished they controlled their dogs. Constant dog barking is a sign of a bad owner.

With additives. They will shut their barking up….for good. The neighbor is not. Considerate and hate speak not welcome.
