I can't link anything because GLP now basically bans all msm links. Dare I say Google it? And I'll try to post the link hoping not to get banned... They allow straight up imgur embeds which is a TERRIBLE idea... :memorybanner: |

I look at this stuff on the daily for years, have it integrated into feeds etc. Few have effects on us, even with a weaker magnetosphere as they're rarely aimed squarely at us. When a carrington-like event happens, it'll be too late to keep an eye on spaceweather - even with some notice. The tech will just fry! Inbetween, it's best to live your life and not anticipate doom all the time. Get those tomato seeds planted ASAP! |

It's because there's nothing we can do about flares. They're unpredictable and no ones fault. The sun isn't trying to poison and starve the world purposely. Forgive me, but being scared of a sun you can't control seems kinds stupid tbh. Here on earth, major things are happening RIGHT NOW. There may not be another large flare event...EVER. Its RNG. So for me, and likely many others, our focus is better spent on those that want us dead NOW and are furthering that agenda every single day. At least then, we have some semblance if control. Not pissing in your cornflakes, but if there's a Carrington event, we won't know until it's too late, and there's nothing we can do. Acting all butthurt because nobody gives af about the sun rn isn't really the way to garner support for a thread is it? |

I'm actually a bit confused, but this is telling of at least one fact. Quoting: eyeDR3 A lot of people that used to come here must not anymore. I know some used to be all over every single earthquake, solar flare or earth change. That was one of the best things about here. We need to focus people! Get back to the before Trump times and start black pilling everyone no matter how crazy you might seem. You will receive vindication one day soon. Let me start this topic back up by saying that X1.1 hit south America hard, and that's a "small" X class flare. The Earth's magnetic field is weakening drastically and even flickers to a point of being penetrable over the last few years. This signals we WILL have some affects to our earth such as weather anomalies this year, earthquakes, aurora potentially down to equatorial lines... Guys and gals buckle the fuck up. I think 2023 is the year 2012 wanted to be. Stfu. |

Quoting: eyeDR3 I’ll add to that which someone posted a week ago. JUNO Spacecraft, Geotail Spacecraft, and the Webb Space Telescope all f'd up in the last month from radiation/cosmic rays. Geotail is totally dead, JUNO hasn't worked right since, The Webb "seems ok" after a system reboot. [link to www.nasa.gov (secure)] "After almost 31 years in space studying the protective magnetic bubble that surrounds Earth known as the magnetosphere, NASA's Geotail mission has come to an end. Geotail's second data recorder, which had been gathering data about the structure and dynamics of our planet's magnetosphere, failed on June 28, 2022." [link to www.nasa.gov (secure)] "There was a problem with the spacecraft accessing the data it had just collected, probably caused by the strong radiation it experienced due to Jupiter’s magnetosphere" [link to www.msn.com (secure)] "NASA's James Webb Space Telescope experienced a technical glitch in January with its Near Infrared Imager and Slitless Spectrograph, or Niriss. After some sleuthing, NASA thinks it knows the culprit: a galactic cosmic ray." [link to www.smh.com.au (secure)] "New data has revealed that the heliosphere, the protective shield of energy that surrounds our solar system, has weakened by 25 per cent over the past decade and is now at it lowest level since the space race began 50 years ago. Scientists are baffled at what could be causing the barrier to shrink in this way and are to launch mission to study the heliosphere." |
