AEK player Oleh Danchenko has suffered a cardiac arrest and is in critical condition after his heart stopped 3 times after collapse during training in Turkey.

Panic rally set in when Danchenko was without pulse and considered “clinically dead” for a period of time, with the defibrillator seemingly failing. The player was then resuscitated and is in the intensive care unit awaiting further treatment procedures and diagnosis.
