There has been an event in Palestine, Ohio.
Smoke and associated fumes and particulate material has been, and will continue to, pollute the area where the extremely carcinogenic has been carried by the wind, to the areas to the northeast. Once settled, that material likely won't degrade, but will settle into the ground water.

Meanwhile, the pollutants at the damage site will enter the fields, groundwater and river where it will be carried to the areas southwest of the original damage.

So if this water in either direction gets used for crops, or industrial purposes undetected... disaster. But not necessarily immediate disaster. We are talking cancer for generations. This isn't ordinary pollution.

Probably champagne.

All need to be compensated. All need medical covered for life. All need prayers. All need to leave the superfund... I understand these people are really salt of the earth people and have their ties. however many miles are way to polluted to never be clean again.

Easiest way to do that: actually poison the land.

At the factory we have to keep a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) on all chemicals in the factory. Over the years I've had the opportunity to read hundreds of these documents and damn near every chemical states "causes cancer" somewhere in the SDS.

In 1972, the Pure Dude and Fugg Administration determined that test rats would develop Cancer from anything they drowned in.
