Brass bronze and copper are antimicrobial. The worst surfaces on the planet should be made of these materials. Like doorknobs, keyboards, mice, sink taps etc. It's a natural way to kill off bacteria on surfaces.

So if any of you are remodeling, I would recommend these types of metals. Plastic is probably the worst.

Use a natural vegetable wash on broccoli anyways to get rid of the diesel/wax that is put on them. You should do this to all fruits and veggies anyways. Multiple people touch them before they even get to you. When I say a natural wash try to find a coconut natural wash because some washes also use diesel in them....making them no better that the chemicals put on them in the first place.
