I came to the realization independently recently that the DoD is in charge of this country - NOT civilian control. DoD and Intel, which is part of DoD.

This has probably been increasing since the JFK coup, with their power and control increasing over time. Eisenhower warned us in his final speech of the dangers of the military industrial complex (MIC) which is what we are clearly seeing now. It came true.

If we examine many of the crises we've been through such as 911 and Ukraine and COVID and the vaccine we keep seeing DoD behind these things, acting with Intel, repeatedly. I think our military no longer exists to defend this country but to enrich the elite class through attacking and taking over other countries like Ukraine.
