Some of this stuff comes down to $$$$. I can tell you for a fact in Arkansas if kids of color are suspended at a higher rate than Caucasian kids said school will lose state $$$ funding. So if you have a school that is 20-30% minorities that school is basically fucked. Those kids figure out pretty quick they can get away with whatever (and I mean literally) they want. And the school turns into a complete shit show because of such. That's not a GLP conspiracy theory...that's a true story.

So true. I’m in a democrat controlled state, ughhh, but in a conservative county. Our school districts were suspending students and the RSOs arrested students for assaults, attempted rape, but mostly selling of drugs in schools.

The minority population in our schools is at 21%. The documented crimes committed in the schools is 97% minority students. The other 3% are whites defending themselves in fights against the minorities, and one white student was arrested for drugs.

The governor and state school superintendent attacked the three school districts with withholding funds. We, the taxpayers, agreed to raise property taxes to counter the state. What did the state legislatures do? They passed a law capping the amount a county can tax homeowners for school needs.

That’s right, the governor and state legislatures passed a bill stopping our county from helping our schools because of their political agenda.

Well you just elected Sarah Sanders as governor. Can she do something about that state funding issue?
