The usually dry LA River
In my fifty plus years on the planet, I’ve only seen it with a trickle running down the middle.

Then you don't definitely don't live around these parts. The river used to be full often and I am only 39. There was a lot of homeless sleeping in there hope they got out.

Gavin Newsom will make sure all that pure rainwater will not get captured and used for public consumption. It will flow out to the sea. The dams will be opened and spillways will overflow. Stupid games from stupid governors will lead to hard times in the future.

NW Arizona got a lot of rain yesterday too, some of the washes in my area are still running like creeks even though it hasn't rained for about 6hrs. The desert bloom this spring is going to be glorious, thr California poppies are already blanketing parts of the Mojave.
