Aussie Man Gets Pulled Over For Car Defects... Gives Cops a Taste of Their Own Medicine

His partners car was issued a defect notice for a couple of minor things after being stopped by Highway Patrol in Victoria on Saturday, but the car-savvy driver soon turned the tables on the police.

The man who actually owns a tyre business thought he’d check the roadworthiness of the Cop car that pulled him over. He immediately found two tyres “as bald as a baby’s bottom”.


----- “Right on the inner (tyre) – they’re bald, mate,” the tyre expert tells the officer.

----- “It’s on the thread indicators mate, and the inside is a bald as a baby’s bottom.”


He then walks around to the tyre on the other side.


----- “This one’s bald too mate,” he says.

-----“Before you hand out defects, maybe check your own car.”


A couple of days later in a media interview after his footage went viral he said - “I was standing there waiting and noticed their tyres were no good – they are bald, they are no good, so I jumped in and said, “what’s going on here, man?”

----- “The officer started out feeling outer edge saying no “they’re fine” – but I said, “Nah mate, on the inside – they’re f***ed”.


He said it didn’t get him and his partner out of their defect, but they avoided the fines.


Victoria Police later confirmed that the police car’s tyres had been replaced after the incident.
