The Zombie Apocalypse has begun in Nashville TN

It's official. They have arrived.

Oh we've always had Hobos, we're famous for those. Old men who used to live at the cheap apartments or shelters downtown and just drink all day. For a decade my neighborhoods crawlspaces were housing for several bums, all harmless old men that just wanted to hang out and be at peace. Slowly they began to disappear.

Then yesterday, THEY showed up. I actually couldn't believe what I was seeing; I wish I had a picture now.

This completely psychotic looking black dude was sitting on my neighbors porch. Someone had called the Cops and Fire and they had followed him to this street.

He was dressed, if you can call it that, in some sort of "artistic" garments he had made out of paper and tape, he looked ready for the Spring Fashion shows. The pants were strait out of a pirate movie, black slacks that had been sheared off at the knees and were fringed with raggy bits. Except his pants weren't cut by a costume designer, he looked as if he'd worn them for years without taking them off. No shoes, and its still cold out here at night. Obviously a mentally ill person whose been out there a long time.

They do everything they can to take away the freedom of the average person, but this sickco gets to wander around society wreaking havoc. There was a time he would have been held on 72 hour Psych hold so they could at least bathe him, get him into some clean clothes and medicate him long enough to calm him down.
Now we don't even have a General Hospital anymore to send these people to. They closed it!
It's so fucking sad.
