Happiness starts with you. Embrace God is with you.

2 Timothy 1:9 (English Standard Version)

who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began

What I mean , is that you need to embrace who you are and the values you believe in. Embrace the God you believe in. Because he is embracing you.

This world will try everything so you are not happy. To bring you suffering and sadness. When you are happy, you are at peace within. Connected to the divine. Aware of Gods presence.

God made you for Happiness and Glory. Gratitude and Truth.

But on this journey with Jesus each year, each decade. Understanding changes. Wisdom increases. But the whole time God remains the constant. The same. Every time he is our anchor. Every time he gives us Grace.

A lot of times, we think we need to accomplish a certain goal , or make a certain amount of money , or have success, or a wife, whatever it may be. We think once we get there. Then we will be happy. And sometimes we forget we are made for happiness right now too. The journey filled with happiness is the best way to live life. We are more aware. We are observant. Our discernment is better.


Also, I really believe. You can get all those accomplishments, thinking it will then give you happiness , but if your not at one right now, even that happiness from the accomplishments won’t last. We have to embrace God. And embrace ourselves. And have compassion for ourselves. We need to allow ourselves to be filled with Hope. And I know it’s difficult. Sometimes we get our hopes up and they get crushed. Just stay strong. Keep moving forward. And let that Hope rise up within you. Trust God. He knows what he is doing. We may not know exactly what God is doing. But God knows what he is doing.

Never forget. Jesus covers us.

So try to be kind to yourself. He is kind to you is he not?

God does not want you to suffer , however he did suffer on the cross for us (because of his love for us)

God wants you to be filled with Joy! Don’t let the world take away your Joy that God made you for.

God also asks us, to lean not on our own understanding, but in all things trust in the Lord. Acknowledge him in all our ways and he will make our paths straight.

If only it was that simple. If I do see it that way for a moment, it's gone just as fast. I figure I'll be dead before I figure out how to be happy every day.
