Multiple girlfriends are seeking hair re-growth rememdies. All have a very good diet and take vitamins.

All are under a lot of stress (assuming that's the cause of their hair falling out.)

Many products/devices for sale. What's worked for you?
 Quoting: NotStarvingActress

You might want them to check for FOLLICULITIS first.

This is an inflammation or issue with the hair follicle.

There is a folliculitis shampoo which they can use. Many out on the market.

If it is that, clear that up first, or at the same time as you go ahead with the nurturing regrowing stuff.

PLEAsE NOTE:
"COVID (or in the real universe, the flu):
"How to thicken hair after COVID?
In patients with post-COVID-19 hair loss, serum ferritin levels should be evaluated to assessed iron storage and oral iron supplementation could enhance hair re-growth whenever serum levels of ferritin are beneath the reference threshold"

Birch sap.
Let sit first. Then rinse.
Also dekokcshun young leaves or buds work.

To the previous poster,
NOT a larper or a man. You should know me from my many previous posts including natural health topics.

Numerous woman friends/neighbors have complained of hair loss, yes. Sharing beauty/health tips & what spa treatments work vs which are total rip-offs is the norm among us.

For example condo neighbors advocate eating green olives with garlic added daily. Helped with my allergies on windy days.

I also damaged my hair swimming laps in a chlorinated pool and relaxing afterwards in our condo jacuzzi.

Re rosemary (and mint) oil,

I grow both on my patio garden. How do I get oil out of the plant leaves? Is it sufficient to just add them to my food?

Re: GF's Losing Hair, What Really Works to Re-Grow Hair?
Only happened to one girl I dated. She was vegan and doctor tested her and told her she had to eat meat as she was not getting required nutrients from her diet. Good looking girl and looked like she was 80 when hair started falling out. She forced herself to eat fish and steak twice a week and her hair and skin color came back better than before.

When you say really good diet are talking vegan, vegetarian? That would be my guess as to the issue.

Yup. People need protein. At least eat eggs and dairy if against meat eating. And eat seafood like oysters and clams. Find out protein needs and get that every day. I’m more of a carb person(love fruit) so have to make myself eat enough protein. My hair and skin are getting better.

I lost about 1/3 of mine and the loss stopped after taking iron pills. I now take biotin frequently which helps the hair regrow. Mine started regrowing very fast after taking the iron pills.

Wet hair before getting into chlorinated water. Or wear a swim cap. Loved the ones with the flowers from the 50s.

I actually just buy the oil on Amazon. Though you can boil the rosemary in water and put the water in a spray bottle and spray on the scalp and use as a rinse.

Re: GF's Losing Hair, What Really Works to Re-Grow Hair?
Amla oil is awesome.

Learned about it from a friend from India years ago. She said it is what Indian women use for thick, beautiful hair.

I have been using it for about 5 years now, and it is amazing. Takes very little. When hair is still damp, rub into scalp and then comb it through. Find it on Amazon, a $12 bottle will easily last a year.

Hair has thickened up to like when I was a teenager. A lot less breakage.

ETA: Stress will definitely cause a hair fall. Usually happens a couple months after the major stress event. Hair folicles just stop, hair looks shabby & falls, and then after a couple months hair will start growing again.

Maybe make a paste with a mortar and pestle, add some oil, and use it as a pre-shampoo conditioning treatment.

I also love Olaplex 3 & 6, but they are expensive, and as much as I love Olaplex, many others dislike it.

Also love IGK Good Behavior as a leave in if I am using any heat on my hair. Can be found on Amazon.
