Some of it actually is. But 99.999% of the world’s population wouldn’t eat without our modern farming and transportation technology.

Technology in itself is neutral. However, the conscious intent of the user of said technology can be good or evil.

Unfortunately, the power elite running the show have repeatedly demonstrated their obsession with the acquisition of power and control and perpetuation of privilege for their bloodline to the point of their way or burn everything down. So yeah, we do not have a technological problem, we have a governance problem. Unless we address that, no amount of technology will help.
