Me and my employer paid into both for 48 years. When do I get it all back with interest?
Many people don’t live to collect it either. Where is that money?

And our government has already spent all the money and has been bankrupt for a long time. We were resolving everything through negative spending. If you had invested in a bankrupt company, the money would have disappeared, and you would have to take responsibility for it yourself. My Dad died at 65. My husband died at 67. I have had several friends and family members who died in their 40's and 50's. Where did all the money go? SS works like insurance just in case you’re unfortunate to live a long life, not a saving account. You become more foolish as you get older?
