I don't qualify for s.s. because I didn't work enough. The good news is I worked Fire and have a "safety "retirement". If the "government" can send money to countries I've never heard of and pour billions into Ukraine,they can take care of S.S. There has never been a problem with the U.S. "budget". They never run out of money. I always here about the deficit but this is truly :"nothing ever happens". They just bailed out the failed banks in Kali and saved Newsom's ass.
