You know, I am disabled. So is my wife. If we didn't get social security we would die. We get just barely enough to survive. There is zero extra to save or plan for. I am getting sick of people like you wanting to make my life even harder. It's not my fault those idiots in office took the money from the trust fund. But they did. That doesn't make the obligation of the government go away.
Leave us poor folk alone. We have it bad enough. We can't survive any cuts. It's bad enough they took away our food stamps. Try to live off $75 a month in food. Just try. See if you think you need less.

Its your generation's prevalent collectivist attitude that other people are resources for your own use that is the problem. You are responsible for you - You should have saved for your old age. You should have children that care enough about you to care for you. I am not responsible for your life, and if you die why should I care? You see me as a walking wallet- not a person. SO why should I treat you like a person when you won't reciprocate? The answer is one you know. A moral society doesn't forget to take care of those less fortunate in luck than others just because there might be losses not replaced.
