When I lived in Italy going to school, most people thought I was an Italian, because of the fashionable cloths I wore. The other American students wore shit like shorts, teeshirts, and sandals, and were treated like shit, and also not allowed in some places.

When I lived in India I dyed my hair black, and dressed like most Indians, in a dress shirt and slacks with flip flops, and the Muslims and bigoted Europeans left me alone.

Most all are there to learn and find a better paying future.

In fact a guy I worked for was an elevator mechanic who went to college for finance in his 40s, after 20 years in the trade he wanted to have a degree in finance. He achieved the goal and started his own elevator business in which he still did majority of all labor

Not in Canada. There's Trinity Western and little else, and the usual suspects are trying to shut Trinity Western down.

I don't even have a medical file. I haven't even had a health card since 2007. It was the old white health card with the red stripe on it. I lost it in 2007 and still have not gone to get a new one. I have not been to the doctors in all that time as I've barely had more than a cold since then.

Really, shouldn't you be the one that possesses your own medical records? In Canada, you want control over these things, particularly these days.

I don't know of any Christian universities here in Canada. All the schools appear to be ultra left wing and if any student is conservative or Christian they keep it quiet for fear of being attacked by these rabid SJWs. I am well aware there are people working in the trades with university degrees but there are people in the professional university class who think just like the person who put hick and redneck in that guy's medical file. It is very common. Most people in Canada are left wing and even so called conservatives are not very conservative.

I avoid doctors and medical facilities as much as possible. I rarely hit the deductible in a calendar year, as for most years, I don't go to the doctor, or if I do, it's for a respiratory infection that will not clear up with home remedies, and need antibiotics. Last year was the first year in several years, that I actually reached the deductible where the insurance had to pay.

Last October, I fell and had a severe anterior dislocation of my right hip.The thigh bone twisted and jammed all the way up into the socket. My right foot was actually pointing left. The Urgent Care Center where my daughter took me to first, said I needed to go to the hospital, as it was beyond their capacity for treatment. So, my daughter, now joined by my other 2 daughters, took me to the hospital, over my protestations. I just wanted to go to my Chiropractor, and let him put it back in, but I would have had to wait until the next day, as this all happened hours after his office closed. The pain was phenomenal.

We go to the hospital. They tried to force me to have a hip replacement,and refused to put the dislocated hip back in place. They told me they could keep me, because I was severely injured and couldn't walk.They insinuated that I couldn't take care of myself, on top of them attempting to bully me to get a major operation I didn't need. I told them that if they refused to treat me, I was leaving, as I didn't need a hip replacement, I needed the dislocation reduced ! We left.

When the Chiropractors office opened up the next morning at 8am, I called, and my daughter took me there as soon as I got off the phone with the nurse. He got my hip back in place at the first try, thank God !

FTR, I am a former EMT. I have dislocated a joint before, and put it back in myself, the same with a broken finger, I fixed it myself. The anterior dislocation of my right hip was too serious for me to do, as it takes a person to do it for you, who knows what they are doing. That is the only reason I sought medical treatment.

FYI. Fast forward to now. It takes months, literally, to recover from the injury I sustained. I went from a wheelchair, to a walker, and to a cane, and now am weaning off the cane. I am almost totally healed, no thanks to the witch doctor at the hospital !

Serious lawsuit here. Care would be in question.

I did talk to a lawyer after I got back from the Chiropractor. Unless I had a lasting injury from refusal of treatment, there was nothing I could legally do. I wasn't seeking a quick lawsuit buck. I wanted that doctor's license pulled. I wonder how many elderly people got bullied into surgeries they didn't need. FTR, I was 68 when I fell last October, and am 69 now. I am not frail, and except for arthritis and lifelong respiratory issues,I am overall very active and healthy. My vitals are perfect, and I take no pharma, just a couple of natural supplements everyday.
