My Mom "throws stuff around". Is that a normal thing for old people to do?

The "slamming" of stuff seems weird to me. That's why I was asking if old people are prone to slamming stuff, making loud sounds, etc....are they too retarded to close things properly, or are they trying to get attention?

she is losing some of her inhibitions.

I am here to help her and my stepdad in their old age. Two family members have cancer, one seems to be going into dementia. I'm the only offspring that can help with this.

I guess I need to do some internet research on dementia. I don't know WTF is going on down there but there doesn't need to be that much slamming.
