The former Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has announced his retirement from football at the age of 36 because of a heart condition. The Brazil international played nearly 600 games in his 17-year club career. Perfectly normal to retire from pro sports at age 36 due to a heart condition. In my 50 years of following all sorts of sports, I never recall anyone retiring from or even having a heart condition while in the prime of their sports career before the Covid Vax.
