Scientists tell us that when distant planets align the resulting gravitational pull affects us on Earth. So why doesn’t the Earths gravitational force suck in objects that are much closer than any planet. One would think that this asteroid would’ve started to veer slightly off course when it was far away but continue to be pulled in our direction the closer it got until finally it honed in & made contact.
