BRKG ..RU SU-35 jet intercepts 2 US B-52's Baltic Sea,... no, not a drone this time

A Russian fighter jet has been scrambled over the Baltic Sea to intercept a pair of US nuclear bombers, just days after an American drone was downed.

Russia's defence ministry said a single Su-35 intercepted the B-52 strategic bombers that were flying in the direction of the Russian border, but that it returned to base after they moved away. Dramatic footage appeared to confirm the incident.

Sounds like it's actually getting real.

Would have to be well co-ordinated.

With 4 clusters of two engines each, it can still fly with half of them disabled.

Are these bombers flying without fighter escort?

They could drop a swarm of shovels at it - it might work. If they still have some left. I'm sure shovels are not listed anywhere as weapons for aerial combat - hence using them will not break any international treaties.

...but apart from the shovels - the pic is from a simulator.

We are tested. Id bet there were F22 or F35 nearby. Were seeing if they can see us. Obviously they would see the bomber and send planes to intercept. Did they even see the escorts?
Did they have no idea we were there till we got a lock on them and they shit their pants not knowing where it came from? Or did we just send a B52 up flying around for nothing? Or is the B52 remote controlled and they were hoping it got shot down. No way to know. The first scenerio rings truest to me. We were testing the stealth of our fighters against the enemies radar.
