Been a flu going through Alberta for the last few weeks. Comes on real slow & then a couple of days of stuffiness & you can't taste food. A real bad deep whooping cough is a sure sign you've got it. All together about 5 to 7 days start to finish. The cough persists a little longer but is nowhere as bad as the days go by. Maybe it made it's way out to you.

Fellow Canadian here, yes, my vax son's family has an on-and-off respiratory disease and it feels like routine to them. Maybe they are wondering why.
