Quoting: Anonymous Coward 85367519 They'll be juan-starring me, I'm sure. And there will be those with negative feedback, but I'm to happy to be throwing flames their way. Let 'em torch me! I've got a bottle of single malt scotch and it is paid for with real fiat dollars! |

I took on $13,000 of debt over the course of three years (2017-2020) to please my new wife...who in 2020 became my ex. Unfortunately, all that debt was in my name, so yeah. I did get the privilege and satisfaction of throwing her out, however. That was a really good day like today is. The debt wasn't the only thing in my name. The apartment lease was, too. She tried using the police to stay, but I whipped out that lease and out the door with her stuff she went. The very next day, I had a yard sale and liquidated all our belongings. I used that money to get a divorce, and in the end...she got nothing at all from it. I had sold it all (which you can legally do if you're still married). So it's been almost three years of paying off that debt and surviving as the economy tanked. |

You could write a book on that & be a millionaire. Props man. Uncle Raul |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 82433985 United States 03/21/2023 11:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Take another loan. Everything will go to shit way before you have to pay it off. There soon will be no system in place left to make you pay it off. Go wild. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64895524 There's a reason to be tempted to do that, too! When I sold everything...I literally sold everything! Once the divorce was final, I had to replace the things I sold (furniture, appliances...etc.) Low quality, used stuff purchased with cash, not credit. It's been tough. I went from sleeping on a super deluxe king mattress with all the bells and whistles to tossing and turning on a cheap full mattress. The couch is so uncomfortable, I do not even use it except to fold my clothes out of the dryer, which itself is a clunky box that uses too much electricity. So yeah. Wouldn't it be nice to use all that $13,000 in freed-up credit to get all nice new things? But I'm not going to do it. I'm just not. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82433985 Well, it paid off...because everything has been PAID OFF! I have a lot of credit available now, but I'm not going to let that tempt me to use it. The frugal lifestyle has become a habit, so it will continue; allowing for my ability to save money in this wacked out uni-party globalist economy. Congratulations!!!🎊👏 |
