Critically thinking... there is no way to know. Because we don't have the information ourselves and just have to rely on what others tell us. Which isn't really critically thinking. So we just don't know.

I've heard some people say that the Andromedans made the moon, and that the "negative ET races took it over". Which seems like a cop-out.

Positive aliens always have a "good reason" to not help, while allowing negative ETs toi have hidden but total control over this planet. Even when they are the ones giving the negative ET races everything they need to control us.
