The Governing body claims Jehovah's holy spirit guides the formulation of doctrine, appointment of elders, and disfellowshipping of followers. However, the Governing Body have introduced numerous incorrect doctrine that were subsequently changed, and appointed brothers as elders who were engaged in gross sin.

They justify their audacious claim of having a monopoly over salvation because Jehovah's holy spirit personally guides the leaders, the "faithful and discreet slave."

The Governing Body go as far as to claim that trusting in them equates to trusting in Jehovah.

"The plain truth is that we cannot say that we trust in Jehovah if we do not trust in his earthly representatives—those whom Jehovah trusts.

Today Jehovah leads the earthly part of his organization by means of “the faithful and discreet slave.” ... We show that we trust in Jehovah’s way of doing things by heeding the direction we receive from the organization and the elders." Watchtower 2022 Feb p.4

On the other hand, ongoing changes in Watchtower teachings has forced the Governing Body to admit they are not inspired or infallible.

Since to be inspired means to be directed by holy spirit, it makes no sense to claim to be directed by God but not inspired.

So, if they are truly NOT INSPIRED by Jehovah God and led by his Holy Spirit and they are making it up as they go along, talking out both sides of their mouth, should the flock remain blind and continue to follow the blind ?

More ad hominem argument. You are weak and it shows to all observing. There was clear, factual, articulate statments with questions presented and all you can do is a personal attack against the source of an argument, rather than against the argument itself.

The GB and the vast majority of Jehovah’s Witnesses are extremely haughty. Most are extremely narcissistic and not a humble bone in their body. That's not a personal attack on them either. That is just a statement of fact.

A humble witness, pure of heart would have responded along the lines of something like this:

"I can see where you're coming from with your view point and you bring up some valid points and questions. I'm not sure of all the answers to the subject matter, but will pray on it and for you as well"

I can confirm this as truth. I have a lot of family members that are in this religion and everyone of them are that way, including their friends in it that come around. They have a since of arrogant supremacy about them.

Your leaders pass judgment daily. They have "judicial" meetings to pass judgment and break up homes, destroying people's lives with the judgment they hand down, demanding parents shunn their children, that children shun their parents.

“The Wisdom from Above”

GRASSHOPPERS are not very smart. Their thoughts are not men’s thoughts. If a man could give just a small part of his mental power to a grasshopper, that favored grasshopper would be far wiser than all the other grasshoppers combined. How high above grasshoppers are men!

But before any swell with pride, read what Isaiah says about Jehovah God: “He sits over the round earth, so high that its inhabitants look like grasshoppers.” (Isa. 40:22, Mo) How high above men is God! “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isa. 55:8, 9) If a man could get some of God’s wisdom in him, that favored man would be wiser than all other men that lack divine wisdom.

Amazing that he responds with not about not Judging them, when they themselves pass judgment. And yes, their leaders/elders Lord over them and pass judgment, holding judicial meetings for the sole purpose to judge them and sentence them to inhumane punishments. And DGN licks their boots, worshiping these hypocrites.

While it is not possible for feeble man to project any of his mental power to a grasshopper, it is possible for Jehovah to impart his wisdom to men. Through his Word the Bible “the LORD giveth wisdom”, “he layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous.” (Prov. 2:6, 7) For those who gain proper understanding along with the wisdom from the Scriptures, the eyes of their understanding are enlightened. They discern more than other men.—Prov. 4:7; Eph. 1:18.

Well... that leaves the Governing Body out as they openly acknowledge they are not inspired by God. For someone to have wisdom from God, would mean they are inspired by him. In which the GB says they have none.

For instance, many men note the wars, famines, pestilences and other numerous woes that have afflicted and still afflict this generation, since 1914. But they blindly say it is only history repeating itself. Whereas the eyes of understanding enlightened by God’s Word see in these things not repeating history, but the foretold signs of Messiah’s presence. By studying the Bible such persons have the mind of the Lord on these momentous happenings, and hence they draw on a wisdom far superior to the pooled wisdom of all the finest human brains in the world, a wisdom higher above man’s than man’s is above a grasshopper’s. Note things written centuries ago that mark the time of the end of this present wicked system of things.

Since the Governing body said they were not enlightened by God, who can we trust that is for guidance?
