Quoting: Anonymous Coward 85529270 I know the World's lead biologist, an American, who is the leader working on this, and none is currently government supported, all private. Will be a National Security concern as will change society worldwide politically, sociologically, and economically. Will NOT be purposely priced only for the wealthy, this pharm tech will be worth tens of $trilions. Imagine what world leaders will do in exchange for access to the Rx? Putin and Xi would surrender? It will be "MI6 vs. Spectre on steroids" to gain access to the Rx formula! [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] I CAN BE 24 AGAIN, FOR SURE... |

How is this a good thing? Our only hope right now are that people like Soros and Kissinger finally kick the bucket. We're going to give them immortality? The Clintons too? Not just no but hell no! Like I told my ex-wife, I said: honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it’s all in the reflexes… |

But during end when the bottomless pit is opened up, hordes of locusts come out with the ability to sting like a scorpion Those stung will feel the torment for 5 long months Revelation 9:6 living forever might not be an oh so great thing. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. |

It could. DNA and everything else in your body is molecules. The molecules aren't anything special, the only thing that matters is the way they are arranged. Nanobots eventually will be able to decouple and couple molecular bonds and then they can fix the actual structure of the DNA, the proteins, the cells etc. “The rules are simple: they lie to us, we know they're lying, they know we know they're lying, but they keep lying to us, and we keep pretending to believe them.” Elena Gorokhova, A Mountain of Crumbs |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32614969 Who decides who becomes immortal? Most likely it will be a subscription service. Oh I imagine it will be a serve to live service. Unless of course they wanted to punish you, then, they might not let you die at all. In stargate the gouauld loved to torture people to death, just to bring them back and do it all again.
