In Iowa, when tornadoes are tearing up the sky and extreme derecho doom is bearing down on your home, you stand outside with a beer and embrace the doom. We don’t do basements. We have them, but their soul purpose is to flood. Tomorrow when that EF5 rolls into town and you see the hearts of weather chasers literally getting sucked out of their chests, I’ll be sucking down a Blue Moon on the front porch laughing and drinking. It’s going to be glorious.  |
