They can keep it sealed temporarily, while they decide the logistics of the case, but defense attorneys need to know what the charges are in order to start building a defense. |

And if I were Trump I probably wouldn't. What if Bragg's GJ has indicted on something so serious that he would go straight to jail? It's hard to know. He did business in NYC for decades, and you can't do that cleanly. He even made jokes about it, leaving out the worst stuff for sure. Bragg can use this to force this to a very awkward standoff rather than a clear win for Trump, being able to come in and being handcuffed over a ridiculous charge regarding Stormy Daniels, which would almost guarantee his election in 2024. |
