Looks like he wasn’t having any of that… Quoting: Desert Oasis In practice, that is very dangerous when used as an excuse to behave as an asshole. ONLY when a change in the steady state of traffic flow occurs should the right lane slow to accommodate merge from left. The lane to the left should be maintaining a higher speed than the lane to the right. That looked like fairly clear highway, 2 lanes. A passing vehicle should clear the vehicle to the right in about 30 seconds to get ahead a safe distance to merge back into a lane to the right. This is a sort of rhythm of safe speeds and distances. Obviously there was a disagreement in rhythm. |

I was a few cars back but when we came to an entrance ramp I jumped over in that lane & blew past them on the right. They continued ridding side by side, not letting anyone pass, until we could no longer see them. Assholes!  |
