Yea its not even gonna hit my area until like 1am which makes it even more unpredictable being at night.

I've been watching since 4:00 EST. It has been insane. "massive tornado outbreak". Then tomorrow is Aprils Fools. The irony.

I started watching around 2:15 when I got the Ryan Hall alert.

What a day so far, never seen anything as crazy as this. And its far from over.

Weeee! Tornado watch issued for SW Michigan and much of Indiana. The watch goes until 3am.

Apparently you forget April 27 2011, April 3 1974, and March 18 1925. Today seems like a fair weather day compared to those.

Ik, I’ve been watching too. Horrible. My heart is going out to all the injured and the many many ppl who have completely lost everything to these devastating storms. And to those who will have to endure a scary unpredictable, unpleasant and terrifying night. Hope the casualties will be low. The areas effected are just getting battered to heck.

We don't appreciate how lucky we are here in the UK when it comes to Tornadoes.

My thoughts and prayers are with all those effected.

For 37 years, the most extensive tornado outbreak on record, in almost every category, was the 1974 Super Outbreak, which affected a large area of the central United States and extreme southern Ontario in Canada on April 3 and April 4, 1974. Not only did this outbreak feature 148 tornadoes in only 18 hours, but an unprecedented number of them were violent; 7 were of F5 intensity and 23 were F4. During the peak of this outbreak there were 16 tornadoes on the ground at the same time. More than 300 people, possibly as many as 330, were killed by tornadoes during this outbreak. However, this record was later broken during the 2011 Super Outbreak, which resulted in 360 tornadoes and 324 tornadic fatalities.[4] However, the most tornadoes spawned in the shortest amount of time is 104 over 5 hours and 26 minutes, during the 1981 United Kingdom tornado outbreak on 23 November 1981.

The tornado outbreak of March 18 1925 was even worse than April 27 2011 and April 3-4 1974. More people died in the 1925 outbreak than the 1974 and 2011 outbreaks combined.

April 4-5 is looking like it's gonna be pretty bad. Maybe even worse than yesterday. Hopefully not like April 27 2011, April 3-4 1974 or even worse March 18 1925.

With how large an area of enhanced risk there is on day 4 for 4/4 I think we could see a day 3 medium risk and a day 2 high risk.
Certainly looks like it could be a Super Outbreak like 4/27/2011, 4/3-4/1974, and 3/18/1925. I believe 4/27/2011 was a day 3 medium risk and day 2 high risk.
