Anonymous Coward User ID: 85467625 United States 04/02/2023 07:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | McD's is stupid though, from a business standpoint. The burger market has a big giant hole in it for prime meat burgers. What better way to pivot the company and lets be real, if anyone has the cash on hand to start raising prime its McD's, they could shake the bad image and give people real food. If anyone at McD's wants my resume I'd be happy to send one, I estimate we can get it up and running within the next half. |

If you're going to pay a lot, might as well get something better. Quoting: RedheadOfHell Exactly, I can literally go to Longhorn Steakhouse get a side of rice and their killer spicy chicken appetizer and it's so fresh and good, and real food, hand breaded fresh chicken, not a thick coating, just right. And the kicker is it's so much food I can't finish it, all for around $10, chicken is $6.99, and rice is $2.99. |

Quoting: Keilani bing. 200,000 corporate employees, many in Chicago. My guess is layoff of 20k to 40k. . |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 85211554 In an internal email last week to U.S. employees and some international staff, McDonald’s asked them to work from home from Monday through Wednesday so it can deliver staffing decisions virtually, the report said. It is unclear how many employees will be laid off. “During the week of April 3, we will communicate key decisions related to roles and staffing levels across the organization,” the Chicago-based company said in the message viewed by the Journal. McDonald’s also asked employees to cancel all in-person meetings with vendors and other outside parties at its headquarters, the report added...
