Back when they first started in the 1950s it was mostly teens that worked the grill and cash registers, but 20-30 something that were shift managers and that job did pay decently at the time too. Of course it also is about White European Culture of the 1950s, most people had a work ethic, and pride in what they did, and respect for others, especially paying customers, even teenagers did back then... You absolutely won't get that from bl@k and brown culture, although it still does exist in Asian culture to day, especially in Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. The last time I was at McDonalds was about 3 months ago. It was Friday evening at 6 PM. I wanted to get a couple Fish Sandwiches. When I pulled up to the drive-thru, there was 4 kids sitting on the curb in their McDonald's clothes. They said "We're closed for the night because no one wants to work the evening shift" I didn't say anything, but I was wondering, what about you guys? |

I used to go to Mc's just for the fries back when they offered super sizes.They fries cannot accurately be described as potatoes. I saw a documentary about how they are made. They are so highly processed that they cease being a potato and should be described as a potato-based substance. I just had some yesterday for nostalgic reasons after many years. I specifically requested that they be made with no salt so I could get them fresh out of the fryer. Two large orders cost almost $10. The fries were very stiff, sharp and almost void of taste. They lacked that signature aroma that was almost hypnotic many years ago. They were a big Mc Failure! Never again! |
