it wont satisfy their hunger, there will be starvation during the tribulation. with incoming digital currencies it wont be hard for the governments now to have a level of control over people where they can make gold and silver worthless. Notice how many put their trust in this rather than salvation. And nowhere do the bible hint at gold and silver being important to hoard during the birth pangs before the tribulation which we are in now and i believe have been in since the star sign of the virgin in sept 2017.

youre better off stockpiling food, waterfilter and things like that for those left behind. and items for self defence, dont necesserily need to be anything fancy, could be some big knives that will make burglars etc run and less lethal items like byrna, umarex HDR/HDP (which you can get in europe aswell) etc.

Western Governments don't currently own enough gold or silver to make this idea work. They would have to print fake money to buy such things and any attempt to do so in bulk will drive the price so high it would simply become a dog chasing its tail.

China has been stacking for a while now and they have no interest in helping the west out when they can take the reserve currency, and make the west buy their products in their money.

THey will try to make it as smooth a transition as possible to avoid pain to themselves ( Western markets being gone will hurt their pocketbooks) but nothing and no one is coming to save the west. Adopt the new BRICS currency or don't buy from BRICS or Japan or Mexico....

A) I don't believe that the US is at the top of the list with 8k metric tons. There isn't any gold at Fort Knox. If Hillary sold our uranium to Russia, the gold is probably long gone.

b) Where is Canada on that list? Canada has a lot of gold mines, a ton of natural resources.
