Many don't realize or forget that the Con is two separate documents merged into one. It took two years to get the bill of rights added. 16 men stood up in PA Gen Assembly and walked out. They were being asked to ratify immediately. They did the best they could.

I have read physical documents from an ancestor who was one of those 16. The language was different then.

OP I was once given a message to native Americans. That what was once taken would be returned. The same forces that were once set in motion so long ago are once again at work. The pestilence of Disease, Hunger, Loss of homes and land and nation, the breakup and conquering of the nation is coming.
Only those who hold close to the old ways; in both faith in God and practice of that faith will be spared.

The Cherokee Nation is a huge area of NE Oklahoma. In places, They have their own LEOs, their own car licenses, and operate numerous Casinos. Some areas within the Nation are not part of the Nation.

So the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma doesn’t exist?

They started in NC region and were forced out. Their forced walk to OK was called the trail of tears.

I'm sure by this time they have regathered in orginal places.

But this is thread is really more about the spirit of these people. I have an affinity with them.
