No worries. It's funny though that some think they created an archetype as olde as time. Revolutionized by the Greatest Magus to ever live 2000 years ago that got turned into a looping ritual of drinking blood and wine. What would they do if they knew they prayed to a Magician? All their angles and trees with juggling balls still can't break that seal. Or bind it for their own bidding. We've been in the greater age of magic for 2000 years. Nobody seems none the wiser. Casting in echo chambers building their own dissolving revolving mirrored disco balls. Nothing can stop what was set in motion at the dawn of humanity. We'll be okay. Trash is getting taking out. I'm so damn happy...I have a raid static now, because FFXIV, has always been the most occult game possible, and every time you beat a raid, you are in a sense...doing this whole very very elaborate dance to defeat the eikon of a demigod...

That's always been the theme of FFXIV raids. And the savage mode is when you get the real experience of it. It's like learning a dance. Sometimes you have to do it hundreds of times before you manage to win. Sometimes it takes months. And in the end, when you do master it, it's a fucking ritual. No holds barred....

In the one above, which is phase 2 of the final boss (Pallas Athena), you have to actually do alchemy with platonic solids to win, you have to do it in the middle of the fight

It's amazing too, I don't know. Finally I get to raid, we've finished the first of the four and the second of the four we are about 60% through. The one featured above is the very very last one of this tier before the new expansion. So its the pinnacle really. That's why you see in that other "Athena The Tireless One" video I posted, she says in the opening cutscene -

"You have done well to reach the seat of Godhood" - hence Anasbasieos - March to Heaven. The raid series starts out in the underworld, then the second series - the savage tier I started on - is four purgatories. This final raid season, well...

If you DO beat P12S , phases 1 and 2 (phase 2 is the bosses' "final form", as you can see above - takes absolutely perfect sync of everyone in the fucking team to defeat - now that's a damn ritual, okay?)

You get this mount, to show all the other players what a BADASS you are - it was a flaming fire dragon for the last tier and now for the capstone of the raids its fucking...
