Last night, I took a walk while the moon was out and enjoyed it thoroughly, but nothing much else came up for me to do, in the magical sense.

But now, today...
It is like I am being inundated with energy, a dizzying amount actually. I woke up exhausted, and wanted to go back to sleep immediately after class. I laid down, but nothing came, and slowly I felt energy building, to the point where I realized there's no way in hell I'd sleep. So I got up and started... well, I'm not sure. Nothing specific , I just feel very ... attenuated, direct, focused, charged.

I also am going to say, about this energy - because, it would be fair to accuse someone of being bipolar when they feel a lot of magical energy, and discount their experience as simply mania. But the clinical definition of mania requires it to last for at least a week. Sometimes these "charge" states don't even last for a whole day. Sometimes they last for three. I cannot remember it ever lasting for more than three. And I need significant recharge after that, typically. It's like a mana thing or something.

Like sometimes, the energy gives me this really big mana buff and a power buff overall, but it comes at the cost of a recharge time that is often longer than the "powered" state lasts.

The blue moon, didn't give a huge impression last night other than sticking in my mind as a really beautiful aesthetic or backdrop - but as the day has grown I have come to think perhaps the lunar energy gave me one of these power buffs. (for non gamers: [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

I can only speak to my own experience, and I am in no way suggesting I'm the only person who has this experience. Many here do. And, I'd love to hear if anyone has similar experiences to this.

I know most will see this as bragging, but I'm showing my work dammit. I invite all of you to do the same, to take the things that I say and use them for yourself. I want others to see the magic for themselves, because they'll never believe it otherwise. I think people believing in magic for themselves could really change the world.
