Tell me who is still eating at these burger chains?
Even if they do not spit on my burger deliberately I would be scared to catch a rare tropical disease or a worm disease.
Most of the stuff working in these places are from Central or South America.
Have you gotten any idea how many of that population are carriers of worms disease like shistosomiasis or bilharzia or cryptosporidiosis or Guinea worm?
These are life-threatening diseases and you expose yourself and your children to these worm diseases aside from a myriad of bacterial and viral diseases you can get from these undocumented workers at fast food joints.
In a sane country Burger King and McDonald's et al would be bankrupt already, because sane people would not order food from these places were diseased illegals touch your food.
These illegals do not have to show symptoms, they can be symptom-free but still be carriers of above worm diseases.
I would vomit all day long just by thinking about eating a burger in a burger joint infested with diseased aliens.

Don't know how the Hardees near here stays open.
They don't have enough customers to pay the light bill,
and neither does Burger King.

Looks like fast food is pricing itself out
of existence.

The indie Burger warriors are winning, and the better places will survive. The Lunch specials at most of the sit down places like Applebes is 8.99-12.99 for a burger and fries. When you get to the point that "fast food" cost MORE than actual food, the Rubicon has been reached.

On the other side of that coin: I've found that a lot of developing regional convenience store / gas station chains have been greatly increasing the quality of their hot and ready to go food options. They're now rivalling most fast food in quality while being cheaper and faster.

This is one of those "investigations" that is right in GLP's wheelhouse!

GLPers in those states should drive to the Hardee's in their area.

Go inside or use drive thru. Ask if that store is closing. If yes, then look to see what is the predominant race working inside the restaurant...and...if they look clean and attentive.

It literally would take two days at the most if GLPers in those states got on it...or perhaps GLP just doesn't have enough number of users to do an investigative job like this?
