That's true. You need your head examined if you buy a 90k computerized bank loan with a 4 foot pickup bed.

They are really good quality, well made vehicles that would cost at least 150k, IF they were at all possible to be made in todays challenging climate control environment, and pollution etc.

In todays market, you can't make vehicles that well anymore until you get into the semi-truck range of products.

If I had alot of money, I would be buying up older vehicles rite now, to collect a fleet of them. They will pay for themselves over the next few decades when they still continue to work and be serviceable, parts-availability considered though, Don't buy something that you can't get parts for, if you do, Make sure its really reliable or buy two of them.

You nailed it. New computer cars will be worthless in less than 10 years. I just bought an 03 Jetta TDI and I'm going through fixing little issues. Even this car is almost too new with too many gadgets to break. With the diesel it is my hope to get 1 million miles from this little car @ 48 MPG.

Most likely the seller isn't interested in selling the truck and gauging interest and hoping someone will fork the money out. The trucks made right now are garbage and super inflated in dealership prices while dealers are looking to buy up those old trucks.

It's clean, customized, low mileage, well maintained and has about 200,000 more miles left in a Cummins diesel. It also doesn't have all the pollution junk in it. Trucks like this will be in very high demand in the coming years because you can run it on used oil, cooking oil, kerosene, transmission fluid, virtually anything with a viscosity higher than gasoline. He'll get that price.

I use mine as work cars so I am pretty hard on them, so I don't get that mileage. It's almost impossible not to blow people off the line with these cars without even trying because they are so light and have so much torque. I get a lot of people who seem to think I want to race when in fact I don not. I wish I could tell them that it's not me...it's just what these cars do.

I was curious of purchasing a new truck but when I saw they now cost over $100K USD new, spending $6K USD to have our current truck refurbished was a bargain.

$30,000 doesn't go far nowadays. It doesn't come in any faster, but it don't go far.

But that truck didn't cost $30,000 in 1995, did it? I was high-end for the first generation Rams, and I never priced a Cummins, but I doubt if it was $25,000.

Maybe the seller thinks it has collector cachet. Seller is dreaming. What's KBB say? I think $12,000 would be very generous.

Mine has the stock hub caps and I'm probably going to keep it looking like a sleeper. Don't want the attention. I am reading about all these performance upgrades (injectors, reprogramming ECM, new clutch to tame it) and the claim the mileage can stay the same if you drive it the same. Maybe later in the future. I am coming from a 4 cyl Honda manual and the turbo feels just like the vtec and that car only got 32 per gallon.
