This should never be unexpected.

Remember, Russia has stated from the start that any escalation by the West will be met with an equal counter measure.

Russia stated that if Depleted Uranium weapons were used, Russia would blow them up. They were sent by England who has nothing to lose if toxic radioactive gas is released because it will not get to England but could well affect many parts of Europe. And depending on the wind, it could affect Ukrainians and Russians. In the past, US has used this and it is my understanding that studies of those areas do show increased cancer and other radiation induced illnesses.

So last week, that huge mushroom like cloud explosion was the storage depot of Depleted Uranium being taken out in Kiev. Now NATO is scrambling to clean it up. The Patriot missile system was ineffective.

When the tanks were mentioned, the F-16, F-22 Raptors and F-35 were said to be totally off the table.

Russia has also stated that should their territorial integrity be threatened as a nation, they would use every means available.


Russia has long prepared for a battle in Europe. And in Europe, everything is very close and winds can blow fallout back into Russia. Because of this, they have spent considerable resources making their tactical nukes and even regular nukes to have extremely low levels of residual radio activity. In fact , the lower strength ones some are very difficult to detect.

Both China and the Pope have made offers to mediate PEACE TALKS. Zelensky refuses. The US is paying for everything in Ukraine including pensions, salaries, supplies and a huge part of their economy. US will get nowhere with Zelensky at the helm. Hopefully, a more seasoned politician with negotiating skills will follow.
