Sure it's 'funny', in an abstract way that most everyone can laugh about. Like a bear getting tranquilized in a tree and bouncing off a trampoline and on to the ground, or a gang of robot cars blocking traffic in the city because they are not 'smart' enough to maneuver around emergency vehicles.

But none of this happened because she was black.

Instead it happened because she was running in traffic with sandals, for whatever reason, is out of shape, and lost her balance. And it really doesn't matter whether she's black, white, green, or whatever.

Going for the obvious low-hanging fruit via all-too-frequent racial stereotyping is just plain ol' schadenfreude, and you all can likely do better, even if that's not your choice.
