In a sane America, she would be rotting in prison at the very least. Yes, she is a power-mad, imperialist psychopath. But people don't rise to her level of power in the federal government unless they are. She is quite literally one of the worst people to ever be in a government position. Everything awful that's happened in that region is the result of her. Her ugly face looks like evil incarnate.
