This. I find it ironic that the thug called the white guy a thug.

The Universe blessed me with 40 beautiful acres and when I walk out of my front door, I leave the job inside as much as I can, and go hug a bunch of trees.

I've learned to compartmentalize.

I also do community outreach and gather up some of the young ones a couple times a month. Boys abused by their mothers, girls abused by their fathers. I take them to lunch, let them vent, and try to make sure that they don't hate everyone just because one person hurt them.

They're why I'm always broke. It's worth it, though.

They call me "Aunt J." I give them WWJD bracelets, lol, and tell them if they're in a pickle, to call me, or ask themselves "What would J do?"

Some of them have grown and have families of their own now, and they bring their babies so I can watch them grow too.

I live a very rewarding life. It's not always easy, but it is incredibly fulfilling.
