Finally someone else sees the stupidity of this video. Fake af. Of course special drones can hit 200 kmh. But 0-200 in 1 second? Literally impossible AND the video looks gay too.

this is fkae because drones arent even real airspeed isnt a real thing and its cuz the air doesnt even have dense particles so flight isnt even possible because of vacuums

i build drones . there is no way YOU could control them .

Russia and Ukraine both already use FPV droves that carry artillery shells.

there is nothing fake about this, i have seen such drones in action. They accelerate this fast.

But the 13 year old would not have access to the explosives that make these drones lethal. Governments and the military and terrorists do though. There are already countless videos of FPV drones striking Ukrainian positions, Russia is mass producing them now. Ukraine also had some success with it but Russia now uses massive Electronic Warfare to down them. They destroy about 10000 drones per month.

An effective drone needs to be able to carry a payload.

They do accelerate extremely fast, and 100 km/h acceleration in 1 second is not only possible, but very real and many drones already have such acceleration. Some even more.



But 200 km/h?


Well, I guess it would be possible, for a very small, special built drone.


Speed is not the issue here, it's the acceleration, and the forces involved.




From the video, I can't appreciate the distance from the table to the line of trees. If the distance would be known, acceleration could be easily calculated.




However, a weaponized drone will be very limited in what it can do, and would never reach such acceleration, unless it is very small, very light, hence, INEFFECTIVE on the battlefield.



As a spy drone, yes, it would be excellent, and I bet that every nation on Earth have them, because cameras today are so small, any racing drone with several cameras on it wouldn't even count as extra weight.

Russia is already mass producing FPV drones and has used them to strike Ukrainian positions many times. They even have AI controlled drones that autonomously search and destroy enemies. These can also form a swarm intelligence and share information about targets so that they can be engaged from multiple directions. China is helping Russia in developing these.

The drone is very light, coupled with powerful motors it is possible. However, they don't have long endurance, 10-15 min. I have attended FPV drone events in person, and while they might not have done 200km/h they were definitely extremely fast.

The drones that carry heavy artillery shells go slower of course and probably don't accelerate like that, but even at 100km/h or so they are extremely dangerous and hard to intercept. It's almost impossible to stop them.

There are many videos of FPV strikes on Russian and Ukrainian positions. Russia seems to be more succesfull with them or just has more of them.

Still, small drones can't carry much payload, and except spying, those small, fast drones aren't much of an use.

we measure speed with gps chip on board, so these speeds are the real deal (check my youtube links)
sad is, some folks cannot understand the specs of it
huge batteries which have over 200AMPS at disposal in short bursts, 60AMPS or more big ass regulators (4 of them), very big motors (up to 27000 rpms), one of them can pull 12 kg, where the drone weights 0,6kg.., carbon ultralight frames with thickness over 7mm to support it and not break in a crash
