Is this still true?Chic-Fil-A are opening in the UK soon and I was doing a little research on the company and saw that the CEO sent out shoe-shine brushes to each restaurant with a letter saying white employees should shine the shoes of black customers/ colleagues. This was in 2020, so I am interested to know if this practice is still widespread in US, and how do employees feel? OP, how did the manager seem on the phone discussing this? Thanks. |
