Here We Go… NASA Warns of Internet Apocalypse that Will Disable Internet for Months

The company I work for (50K employees) is making a huge push to get everyone who went remote 3 years ago, to come back to the office by the end of this year. Even people who worked 100% remote before that are encouraged to come back to a regional office. There are a lot of upset people and it really doesn't make any sense since they closed several locations and we invested millions in work from home equipment/technology. We are also quite productive as a mostly remote workforce.

I wonder if they know that an outage is coming ? We have several federal government and state government contracts.

Still wouldn't have an election. It would disable millions of people and businesses. Last thing people will do is vote. People will be to preoccupied with finding ways around the internet.

It used to be that all government agencies,corps, etc had manual backup contingency plans in the event they had a systems failure...
