Woman Gets Attacked By 3 Pitbulls As Owner Has Trouble Containing Them! | |

The owner is screaming and running for the dog. I pulled my gun to shoot it and he got hold of it at the last second. Always put your dog on a leash when you are around the public. I told him he almost lost his dog for being a dumb ass. He did apologize, hopefully he learned a lesson. I had my dogs out in the woods no one around. One basset and one pit mix with curr. When bringing them back out of the woods to go home a nosey asshole had called and lied to the police saying my dog was trying to attack her cat. You couldn't even see a house around. So I told the dogs to go to the car ahead of me. As I get to the top of the hill dogs are almost to the car I see some weasel dick officer getting aiming at my dog. I yelled at him and let him know that dog wasn't bothering him or anyone and if he shit that dog he'd have to kill me. Needless to say he went on with his business of being useless. Now if my dog was acting out of line that's a different story. Some on this thread that think they're going to just go shooting pits cause they're scared best beware most owners ain't no pussies. Yeah it's totally different rules when you aren't around the public. I have a large breed dog as well but he would never scare anyone into thinking he was going to attack. He ignores everyone except for my wife and me. |

Too many people around here have pitts and the owners can't even keep them in their yards. I've seen them around the bus stops in the morning. Had a neighbor let it's cat shit in my garden at night when my dogs were inside. My yard was fenced. I waited up on night. Cat didn't live to shit on my yard again. |

Definitely require a stearn owner. |

It’s called people not knowing how to train their dog. I walked dogs and pet sit for a living for 10 years. Met more pits than you can count. Every. Single. One. Was completely lovable an acted more like a golden retriever than a german shepherd. The only thing I will say is that most of them were very reactive to other dogs. Most of them are also rescues. Sure, maybe not all are bred to fight, but most are purchased by people in bad neighborhoods who don’t know how to train them and treat them like shit. Then they get rescued by rich suburbanites who also don’t know how to train rescued dogs. That’s how you get situations like this. It’s a shitty cycle. There need to be IQ requirements before owning large and/or strong dogs. |
