Video has surfaced that shows a Mississauga transit bus plowing into stopped traffic in a crash that left one person dead and at least eight injured on Thursday morning. It happened on the westbound lanes of Derry Road near Rexwood Road at around 9:35 a.m. In a dashcam video from a transport truck obtained by CTV News Toronto, a blue MiWay bus on the left lane is seen ramming through the rear of an SUV, violently pushing it forward into another SUV and a taxi and causing a chain reaction. Stuff like this only used to happen in third-world countries. |

The driver probably had a stroke or heart attack or something. Unless he was drunk. It was a female driver and 9:30 in the morning, so I doubt she was drunk. The indicator was on to turn left, but she was hugging the right shoulder. Apparently she also just ran a red light. No brake lights at all. Definitely looks like some kind of a medical issue. |
